At GE Money, we value the opportunity to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. Our continuous participation is influenced by the unique needs of each community with efforts focusing primarily on children, education and economic development.

Through organizations such as GE Volunteers, our company’s community participation program, and financial commitments through the GE Foundation, we take pride in having a positive effect on the communities where we operate.

Every year, hundreds of GE Money employees give their time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and others. In 2005, staff at our Edmonton operations alone volunteered more than 5,800 hours for many organizations throughout the community. In addition to providing a tangible benefit to the partner organization, volunteerism provides a forum for team building and has been rated by our staff as a key factor in job satisfaction.
